Meanwhile, the live tapes add period color, like Stampfel's wit in 1965 and the indiscriminate banging and tooting of their loud 1971 band (seven pieces, including sax). But Have Moicy! , attributed to "Michael Hurley/The Unholy Modal Rounders/Jeffrey Frederick & the Clamtones," is an improbable masterpiece.

3 de may. de 2018 · The unearthing of a 1965 live performance by a highly regarded cult band such as the Holy Modal Rounders, who only put out four albums during the 1960s, undeniably holds some lure for fans. Yet, even judged as an artifact, this release is somewhat disappointing.
