Church Of Misery A cult Japanese band ever since their debut in 1998, Church Of Misery combine raw St. Vitus-styled doom with lyrics devoted to well-known (and not-so-well known) serial killers (Gacy, Gein, Dahmer, others). Taste The Pain also features a nice cover of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida". For those into the real slow, ultra-heavy stuff Electric Wizard, Sleep, etc), this is a great band.
The band convinced Hideki Fukasawa to rejoin the band as vocalist and in May 2012 hired Ikuma Kawabe on guitar, with the bands first ever tour of the United States to follow. Towards the end of 2012/beginning of 2013, the band wrote and recorded their 5th studio album, Thy Kingdom Scum. The album was completed on January 26th 2013.

While Ikuma was playing as a guitarist for Booking Agent : Ricky Biondetti Dhidalah started in 2007 as an instrumental heavy psych trio from Tokyo (Gotoh Ba, Konstantine/Dr, Ikuma Kawabe/Gt). The group’s name comes from the mythological giant Daidarabotchi, which was believed to create mountains and land with its enormous size, much like Dhidalah’s sound.
