It is, thoroughly, a Frank Ocean album, yearning for perfection, sating the audience's hunger for dynamism, yet with the persistent feeling that the artist feels it's all a failure.

20 de ago. de 2016 · Frank seems to hold complete control of everything throughout the album and it appears that he completely shaped "Blonde" into what he wanted. Social statements are echoed and amplified, with Frank speaking on topics such as drugs, life, philosophy, and sadness, making the listener think twice about every line, meaning and entendre while mellowing out or crying to the dreamy yet eerie background.
Un álbum que nos dará de qué hablar por años, tan enigmático como su autor, Blond es una audaz colección de ambient y post-R&B que se queda pegada a la piel. Aunque en él abundan las melodías y los juegos de palabras, Ocean muestra su lado más impresionista, desde los sinuosos estados de ánimo de “Nights” hasta la aterciopelada deriva de “White Ferrari”.
