Mötley Crüe. Hair / Glam Metal (Heavy Metal) band from Los Angeles, California. Motley Crüe was founded by Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums), Mick Mars (guitar) and Vince Neil (vocals). The classic Crüe line-up broke up in 1992 when vocalist Vince Neil left the group and was replaced by John Corabi. In 1997 the band reunited with Vince Neil.
Mötley Crüe remains a huge global draw 40+ years into their career and, in the summer of 2022 co-headlined a nearly sold-out North American stadium tour with Def Leppard. The tour continued around the world in 2023 with legs in Latin America, Europe, Japan and Australia before concluding in Melbourne, Australia on November 14, 2023.

Vince Neil and Mick Mars later replaced him on lead vocals and guitar respectively. They were one of the big glam metal bands of the 1980s.
