With Radiant, Atlantic Starr definitely gives up disco, a style that was particularly prominent on their previous 1979 album, to focus on the funk side of their music spectrum. The result is a set full of tough, badass songs that feature incredible vocals and instrumentation, and it's very hard to pick up one which would jam more than the others.
25 de jun. de 2007 · Atlantic Starr really layed it down on this recording. This title along with their other recording "Brilliance" was by far their best work. I remember my days at the roller skating rink back in da day when songs like "Send For Me, When Love Calls and Let's Get Closer" was slammin'. I'm just glad that this title is finally available on cd.
