Yesterday we received sad information that at the age of 84, an outstanding musician and co-creator of masterpieces passed away. Brian Eno's masterpieces were especially close to my heart, always in the company of Harold Budd. The Pearl and Ambient 2 are definitely some of the most wonderful creations ever. 4. 3y*.

To me, the main theme sails from Despair and Solemness to Pensiveness and Hope. It is a courageous piece of work, and I think it is one of the most emotionally stimulating pieces of music that Brian Eno & Harold Budd have created. Just as a Pearl forms from immaculate layers of nacre, so does this musical Pearl form from rich layers of emotion.

This album by Brian Eno and Harold Budd reminds me more of being back in Vietnam than any piece of music I’ve ever heard.
