The arts abound all over the school. They feature a public library, on-campus housing for students from outside of the metro area and very caring staff.
Perpich Center for Arts Education is at 6125 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley MN 55422. View Larger Map The school building is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to the public. Students may be in the building 4:30–7:00 p.m. to eat dinner, rehearse, and work in the studios.
Subject Specialty The Perpich Center for Arts Education Library seeks to support teaching and learning through the arts in Minnesota by loaning arts and arts education materials directly to MN residents (18 and older) who are K-12 and post-secondary teachers, artists, staff from art organizations, researchers, or any interested citizen for a period of three (3) to six (6) weeks.
Perpich Center for Arts Education Specialists are currently working with MDE to keep these resources updated and current. CURRICULUM AND ASSESSMENT RESOURCES We provide consultation and online resources on arts education research, curricula and curriculum mapping, assessment guides, articles about achievement in the arts, and more.
