19 de sept. de 2017 · It’s never a good sign when a group lazily title an album after how many they’ve released, with recent proof being Wavves’ own ‘V’ or Bloc Party’s ‘Four’, and that lack of ideas runs right through this record. Lumbering opener ‘Hologram’ sets the tone, and its murky, repetitive beds of synth form the basis of much of the record.

V: o cómo salir de la luz más fortalecidos.. Luminous estaba llamado a ser ese disco donde la gran banda en la que se había convertido The Horrors, daría el gran salto comercial tras el lanzamiento de Primary Colours y Skying, y no de una manera banal e insulsa, sino logrando adecuar su estilo y cualidades, a canciones accesibles y sumamente llamativas.
