Magdalene College Bursaries are made possible by the generosity of Magdalene alumni. The College also has some funds to help students in cases of unforeseen financial hardship, and students can apply for College grants to support travel, music or sporting activities, or to contribute towards the cost of language courses at the University Language Centre.
Courses. Magdalene College admits students to study all academic degree subjects offered at Cambridge. There are over 30 undergraduate courses at Cambridge. Courses at Cambridge cover over 65 subject areas allowing students to specialise their interests and direction of study.
Most applicants are required to take a written admissions assessment, either with ‘pre-registration required’ (before shortlisting for interview) or ‘Cambridge College registered’ (after you have been shortlisted for interview). Magdalen College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n / MAWD-lin) is a constituent college of the University of Oxford. It was founded in 1458 by Bishop of Winchester William of Waynflete. It is one of the wealthiest Oxford colleges, as of 2022, and one of the strongest academically, setting the record for the highest Norrington Score in 2010 and topping the table twice since then.
Magdalene College has been certified as following the National Code of Standards for Larger Student Developments by Accreditation Network UK (ANUK). Undergraduate Accommodation Undergraduate accommodation at Magdalene is incredibly varied, ranging from spacious bedroom and sitting-room sets in the medieval First Court, to modern en-suite rooms in quiet Cripps Court.
