Folk Singer. Folk Singer es un álbum de estudio de Muddy Waters y publicado por Chess Records en enero de 1964. Fue producido por Willie Dixon y Ralph Bass y grabado en Chicago, Estados Unidos, en septiembre de 1963. Dicho álbum cuenta con Willie Dixon, Clifton James y Buddy Guy como músicos invitados.
Tracks 1 to 9 recorded September, 1963. Tracks 10 and 11 recorded April 9, 1964. Tracks 12 to 14 recorded October, 1964. Tracks 10 and 11: originally Chess Single 1895. It was Muddy simply returning to his original style on a plain acoustic guitar in a well-tuned room with Willie Dixon on string bass, Clifton James on drums, and Buddy Guy on second acoustic guitar.
