23 de jul. de 1993 · Now we have "Coneheads," the movie, which proves that if you're going to stretch a sketch to feature length (even if only to barely 90 minutes) it's going to take more than pointy heads to make it funny. This is a dismal, dreary and fairly desperate movie, in which the actors try very hard but are unable to overcome an uninspired screenplay.
The Coneheads were a sketch on the Saturday Night Live television show of the late '70s which were expanded to feature-length proportions with this film. The story concerns Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) and Prymaat (Jane Curtin), who leave the planet Remulak to prepare for an invasion of Planet Earth. 23 de jul. de 1993 · Coneheads, yeah, it's one of the FEW SNL movies that turned out right, especially since it came so long after the Conehead sketches stopped airing. But then it was back before SNL made it's downward spiral to the dust bin. It has an all star cast, and in even the small roles.
