As a whole it could be Todd Rundgren's greatest record, although none of the songs made such a big impact, since none of them was a successful single. People say it reminds them of Laura Nyro, but I could add that several songs could have been in an Elton John record, but are more sensitive and fragile than you would expect from Elton John (and from his good period as well).
