Hace 5 días · Thanks for the help Jim, Unfortunately updating the timecode before creating proxies wouldn't work out too well for us. Ideally, our remote editor's are the ones who would be responsible for ingesting, organizing and timecode syncing all the footage, and they wouldn't have access to the full resolution media to first ingest before creating the proxies.
30 de may. de 2024 · Timecode is most typically created at the time of recording, by the device doing the actual recording of the signal. If you are using an external timecode generator, or other timecode source, that would usually be connected fed to the recorder, not through the switcher. Top.
Hace 3 días · Re: Update Timecode from Audio LTC is Inaccurate. It may be another problem, but I noticed that if the LTC is interpreted as the first frame it doesn’t apply the offset. Ie, if the LTC started 5 frames into the clip the timecode displayed would be accurate but it would be applied to the start of the clip.
Hace 5 días · So as it stands right now if you use BMD 4k / 6k cameras and a MixPre, all of your timecode will be synced by the output of the ATEM Mini. The issues start when you use other external sources.
