2 de may. de 2024 · Neil Young wrote “Helpless” in 1969, during a time when he was feeling homesick and longing for the clear skies of his native Canada. He was living in California at the time, but he had grown up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and spent many of his formative years in Toronto, Ontario.
Hace 2 días · Neil Percival Young (Toronto, 12 november 1945) is een Canadees singer-songwriter.Hij begon zijn muzikale carrière in Winnipeg in de jaren 60, waarna hij naar Los Angeles verhuisde. Hier had hij succes met de band Buffalo Springfield waarna hij zich op solowerk richtte met Crazy Horse.Niet veel later sloot hij zich aan bij Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Young).

We sluiten Dume af met drie nummers die net als Looking for a Love en de overdubs van Pardon My Heart zijn opgenomen op Neil’s Ranch in september 1975.

Thanks for visiting the Hearse Theater, named after my hearse ‘Mort’, the car we used in my first band, ‘The Squires,’ as we played in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba, back in the early to mid-sixties. We at NYA have had the Hearse Theater for a number of years now.
