29 de feb. de 2020 · Zootopia was released on 4th March 2016, the Beastars manga was first published on 8th September 2016. Paru Itagaki says that one piece of inspiration for her work is Disney feature films. I think the parallels are much more intentional than we realise.

The main problem with the final arc is that it lost focus, introduced a bunch of stuff that it had to rush to deliver on and then ended abruptly without delivering on any of it.

24 de jul. de 2019 · Be warned tho, this manga is VIOLENT AND EDGY and is a fucking lot of fun but will often have incredibly gory or fucked up sections. Taken without the context of Japanese representation, it's very refreshing to have a main character who is 1. gay 2. an awful person 3. doesn't have the sexuality played for laughs.
