Still (also known as Stillusion) is the first, and to date only, solo album by Pete Sinfield, former lyricist of progressive rock band King Crimson, released in 1973. At the time, Sinfield was involved with Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and Greg Lake assisted with vocals, while other King Crimson alumni provided assistance.
Pete Sinfield is best known as the lyricist for King Crimson and ELP. His classic 1973 solo album was one of the first releases on ELP’s Manticore label and features contributions from Greg Lake, Ian Wallace, Mel Collins, John Wetton, Keith Tippett, and many more musicians.
This King Crimson related record is the sole album of lyricist Peter Sinfield who wrote the lyrics for the first four Crimson albums, some ELP albums and some Italian progressive rock bands. On this album Sinfield not only writes the lyrics, but also shows his more then reasonable vocal capabilities and he plays 12-string guitar and synth.
13 de nov. de 2020 · After splitting for KC, Peter created this solo album with support by Crimson alumni like Greg Lake, John Wetton, Boz Burrell, Keith Tippet and the incredible Mel Collins, who also served as this album's co-producer and musical arranger.
