John Alec Entwistle (Chiswick, [1] Londres, Inglaterra, 9 de octubre de 1944-Las Vegas, Nevada, Estados Unidos, 27 de junio de 2002) fue un músico, compositor y productor británico, más conocido por su trabajo como bajista del grupo británico de Rock The Who.
John Alec Entwistle (9 October 1944 – 27 June 2002) was an English musician who was the bassist for the rock band the Who. Entwistle's music career spanned over four decades. Nicknamed "The Ox" and "Thunderfingers", he was the band's only member with formal musical training and also provided backing and occasional lead vocals.
John Entwistle, The Who’s original bass guitarist, was born in Chiswick in West London on October 9, 1944, and his natural talent as a musician formed the backbone to many of The Who’s most memorable recordings.
