28 de feb. de 2022 · The Terminator 1984 remastered version is incredible. Got me all excited thinking there was a 4K version of this I hadn't heard about. The picture quality is a big improvement, but I do think they went overboard with the teal-tinted color grading. I wish MGM would finally include the original 1984 mono mix for it someday.

Star Wars was huge but over the 10+ year mark, like the original was $11 million budget and $775 million gross, now they cost $306 million and gross $2 billion. Young Guns is the entire opposite of it. They spent $11 million on the first one and grossed $45 million.
Seeing the Terminator come out of that truck wreckage as an endoskeleton scared the shit out of me as an 8-year-old. But I think that's why Terminator 1 holds a special place in my heart (even though Judgement Day seems to be the fan favourite). I really like those horror elements, and the Tech Noir scene is one of my favourites in any film.
