Martin John Kemp FBA (born 5 March 1942) is a British art historian and exhibition curator who is one of the world's leading authorities on the life and works of Leonardo da Vinci. The author of many books on Leonardo, Kemp has also written about visualisation in art and science, particularly anatomy, natural sciences and optics.

Martin Kemp. I was Professor of the History of Art at Oxford from 1995 to 2007. I am an expert on the work of Leonardo da Vinci. I have been an Honorary Fellow of Trinity since 2008.
Martin Kemp is an hon. fellow at Trinity College, University of Oxford. Martin reasearches imagery in art and science, espceially Leonardo da Vinci.
The central theme of my research has been the relationship between scientific models of nature and the theory and practice of art. This has primarily involved the sciences of optics, anatomy and natural history in various key episodes from the Renaissance to the 20th century.
