Prior's Field is an independent girls' boarding and day school in Guildford, Surrey in the south-east of England. Founded in 1902 by Julia Huxley, it stands in 42 acres of parkland, 34 miles south-west of London and adjacent to the A3 road, which runs between the capital and the south coast.
Prior's Field offers a distinctive route to high achievement for your daughter. It’s a school where girls are encouraged to grasp opportunities – from designing and racing electric cars, performing with world acclaimed musicians, debating at the Cambridge Union, to setting up businesses in the Sixth Form.
Prior’s Field offers 26 subjects at A-Level. Girls go on to a wide range of universities, including Oxbridge, to study courses as diverse as medicine, philosophy, law and music. Excellent facilities include an all-weather sports pitch, on-site tennis academy, superb Creative Arts centre and separate Sixth Form House.
Admissions Process. Applications can be made for girls to enter at age 11+, 13+ and the Sixth Form. The process normally begins at least a year prior to entry. Initially, prospective parents and students are invited to attend an Open Morning which is held three times a year.
