  2. 27 de nov. de 2007 · We have the ignition/CDI box wired as follows: BK/Y to ground. G/BK & BR/BK to switched ignition (+12V) GY to ignition through 100 ohm resistor. G & BK to coils (other side of coils to +12V) Y & BK/W to the engine trigger coil. (We've tried both polarities) We're getting no spark, and have tried two different.

Before you decide to disable the side stand safety switch due to your stalling issue, check that the side stand switch plunger is freely moving in and out, if not clean and lubricate it (it's in the FAQ's).

  4. 19 de oct. de 2009 · Subject: Removing California emission hardware. 1st post - great site, spent hours reading already. I just picked up a 1997 Ninja 250 as a project bike. I live in Michigan, and the bike (Much to my surprise) ended up being a California Bike with all that extra emission gear on it, plus the 3 feeds at the rear of the tank.

  9. 11 de may. de 2011 · Ive seen this mentioned, but no long discussions. I was thinking of converting my ninja 250 to EFI. I found out that the UK version has EFI instead of carbs. I also found another forum (not this forum) user that converted his 250 to EFI. I want to do it mainly because my bike would start instantly when its cold out.
