There is no need to change the e-mail address you provide to others. Your @hotmail.com address will continue to work properly, and all e-mails sent to it will arrive correctly in your Inbox.

hotmail.com is nowadays just one of several aliases for outlook.live.com, so that's where you'd expect to end up. Just sign in with your Hotmail email address and password when you get there.
