West Kirby ( / wɛst ˈkɜːrbi /) is a coastal town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England. In the north west of the Wirral Peninsula and at the mouth of the River Dee, the town is contiguous with Hoylake and historically within Cheshire. At the 2011 Census, the population was 12,733.

The Crescent, a curved street filled with Tudor architecture, is home to high-street brands and local stores, whilst Banks Road is lined with local independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
If you are visiting West Kirby and the tide times permit, then take a walk around Marine Lake. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes or so. The lake is a popular venue for sailing and other water related events and is adjacent to West Kirby Sailing Club. Great views of the Wirral peninsula and the North Wales coast.
