Welcome to our School. St Aloysius' College is a comprehensive boys' day school with a co-educational Sixth Form in Highgate, north London. We welcome, educate and nurture students aged 11-18. A voluntary aided school, proud of its Catholic tradition and privileged to be the oldest surviving foundation of its kind in the Archdiocese of Westminster.
Coordinates: 0°08′20″W. St Aloysius' College is a Roman Catholic, boys-only state school in the London Borough of Islington, England. Each year around 180 pupils are admitted to Year 7 (aged 11 or 12) on the basis of examination; the local education authority also assigns students without another school to this school.
Saint Aloysius is the Patron Saint of Catholic Youth and Students. We celebrate his Feast Day on the 21 st June. The college was set up by the Brothers of Mercy in 1879. It is the oldest Foundation secondary school in the Diocese of Westminster. This college has served the communities of North London very well over the past 142 years, and we continue to do this by providing the best possible educational opportunities for all of our pupils.
