Is Tropical are a band from London, England, with members as of 2014 including Simon Milner, Gary Barber, Dominic Apa, and Kirstie Fleck. Formed in 2009 as a trio, in June 2011 they released their debut album Native To, preceded by the single "The Greeks", which had a music video win awards at the UK Music Video Awards.

5 de dic. de 2014 · La banda formada en 2009 originalmente como trío – Dominic Apa, Gary Barber and Simon Milner – acaba de sumar al nuevo vocalista Kirstie Fleck, quien ya habia trabajado en el track publicado el año pasado “Dancing Anymore”. El nuevo trabajo de Is Tropical contará con el productor Luke Smith (Foals y Depeche Mode).
Kirstie Fleck/ IS TROPICAL. Why did you decide to join IS TROPICAL, and what were you doing before that? I moved to London to study fine art in 2007 but in my first 2 weeks I met Gary and Simon and my whole plans changed, I went back to their squat at the time which was an old toilet factory, it was huge and crazy!
