Boxing or Hamon are both preferred specs due to Hamon giving extra damage and Boxing making you "tanky". Time Stop Mastery could be a waste of points, due to the damage cap being easily achieved with M1's.
Star Platinum: The World tips [] Here is a time stop combo for SPTW created by RetroRodaRollaDa (recommended that you have Hamon): Charge Hamon first, and/or activate Combat Precision. (Doing both will bring your LMB damage up to 14 damage per click.)
Sometimes people stated that Star Platinum has the most combo potential than other stand, So there is not a best spec for it. For PvP, use Star Finger and M1s as your main damage output, as Star Finger blinds the target for a moderate amount of time and your M1 damage is set to 8.9.
