Las 700 habitaciones de la residencia de estudiantes Grand Morillon en Ginebra se organizan en dos volúmenes horadados por un recorrido peatonal que asciende desde la planta baja dando acceso a los programas compartidos.

Kengo Kuma wanted to create a strong yet delicate contrast between the metal façade, with its large light-grey shutters that project a monumental force, and areas such as the “gradual walk”, communal kitchens and living quarters, where the colour of the wood provides a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The 700 rooms of the Grand Morillon student residence in Geneva are organized in two volumes perforated by a footpath that ascends gradually from the ground level, giving access to the shared programs.
