An R33 Skyline GT-R LM that competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1995 Nismo developed the Skyline GT-R for endurance racing with a pair of JGTC specification R33s for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. These were not allowed to run a four-wheel drive.
En el año 1996 se introdujo en el mercado el modelo GT-R R33, mucho más largo que su predecesor y además equipado con un LSD activo, uno de los primeros en poseerlo. Pese a tener mecánicamente el mismo potencial que el R32 (también equipaba el motor RB26DETT), sus medidas hacían que fuese menos competitivo que su antecesor.
