James Perry McCaffrey (March 27, 1958 – December 17, 2023) was an American actor best known for his voice role as Max Payne in the Max Payne video game series, Jimmy Keefe on Rescue Me (2004–2011), and Captain Arthur O'Breun in New York Undercover (1994–1997).
He was an actor and producer, known for Max Payne 3 (2012), Max Payne (2001) and The Truth About Cats & Dogs (1996). He was married to Rochelle Bostrom. He died on 17 December 2023 in Larchmont, New York, USA.
