7 de mar. de 2013 · Last night the recovery area on one of our Oracle Database Appliances went full. This was reported in one of the database alert logs, and we were able to clear out some space before the next log switch, at which point the production would have come to a halt.
After it completes, connect the Exadata Database Machine to your network and check for the validity: # check_ip.sh -m post_applyconfig. It will report the output in the same manner as the pre_applyconfig parameter and will report any issue, if present. After fixing the issues, run the deployment script.
About ASMCMD. ASMCMD is a command-line utility that you can use to manage Oracle ASM instances, disk groups, file access control for disk groups, files and directories within disk groups, templates for disk groups, and volumes. You can run the ASMCMD utility in either interactive or noninteractive mode.
