Heirophant green attacked jotaro. They made it so you couldn't see the stand, like when jotaro beat up the shark. The painting was used to give Kakyoin an aire of mystery and make him look more intimidating. The painting was also confirmed in the show to not be what effects jotaro since kakyoin destroys the painting after throwing it into the tree.
