The first generation Honda NSX (New Sportscar eXperimental), marketed in North America and Hong Kong as the Acura NSX, is a 2-seater, mid-engine sports car that was manufactured by Honda in Japan from 1990 until 2005.
18 de feb. de 2021 · In this NSX buying & inspection guide we will be mainly referring to the car as the Honda NSX rather than the Acura NSX. Essentially, they are the same thing, but the Acura name was used in North America to differentiate the NSX from lower end Honda models.
It underwent a performance upgrade in 1997, which saw the arrival of a larger 3.2 L V6 engine, [10] and a facelift in 2002 where the pop-up headlights were removed. The first-generation NSX was discontinued in 2005. North American models were sold as the Acura NSX.

22 de ene. de 2018 · In 1989, Honda unveiled the first generation of the NSX (renamed from NS-X) at the Chicago auto show, and at the Tokyo Motor Show a couple of months later. It went on sale in Japan in 1990 and from November 1990 in Hong Kong and North America under Honda’s luxury brand, Acura.
Motor Trend awarded the NSX first place in its 2020 hybrid performance car comparison, praising the improvements made to the car by the 2019 update. Autocar listed the Honda NSX as one of the best super sports cars for the year 2022.
