Falkon uses the Qt cross-platform application framework and offers a built-in AdBlock. By default this adblocker whitelists the web page of Falkon's main search engine, DuckDuckGo. A "portable" (no installation) version for Windows platforms exists. Falkon is also distributed in the PortableApps format.

22 de jun. de 2013 · We should probably switch over the QupZilla listing to Falkon. Portableapps.com has a version for download here: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/falkon-portable There hasn't been a release in over a year though. Current version is using Chrome 69, which is way outdated.
It is a very good browser. It doesn't support any extensions. There is an ad blocker built in that you can enable. It does support plug-ins that are in its settings, but that's about it. You can mess around the settings as it has a bunch of them. It integrates really well with KDE. I use it daily. 7. Reply.

1 de sept. de 2019 · A new version of Falkon Portable has been released. Falkon is a modern web browser based on webkit that was previously released as QupZilla. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.
