18 de ago. de 2023 · The majority of students (76%) responded negatively to the statement “I think face-to-face lectures and workshop classes are an out-dated mode of education in the modern world of information technology, distance learning and self-directed learning” (mean Likert score 1.96).
Specically, face-to-face classes included traditional didactic lectures which were used to deliver course content, and workshop classes that used an active learning platform to facilitate student interaction and engagement during class (Freeman et al., 2014; Shaw et al., 2015).
