Commonwealth Reserve is a pleasant park adjacent to Gem Pier and borderd by Nelson Place with its old buildings and fairly tacky restaurants and shops.The park provides excellent views of the city, has a rotunda, an old drinking fountain and a Visitor Information Centre that opens sometimes.
