The Original Wailers are a reggae group formed by Al Anderson and Junior Marvin in 2008. Both are best known as guitarists for Bob Marley and the Wailers as well as former members of The Wailers Band. In April 2011, Marvin departed the band.

El núcleo de The Wailers, tal y como se dio a conocer al mercado musical internacional, se configuró entre 1969 y 1970, en torno al trío Marley/Tosh/Livingston, con las aportaciones de los hermanos Aston y Carlton Barrett, procedentes de la banda The Upsetters.
Biography — The Original Wailers. In 1974 when Bob Marley went solo, on the brink of international stardom, he surprised the music community by choosing as American born lead guitarist, Al Anderson.
Bob Marley and the Wailers (previously known as the Wailers and prior to that the Wailing Rudeboys, the Wailing Wailers and the Teenagers) were a Jamaican ska, rocksteady and reggae band. The founding members, in 1963, were Bob Marley (Robert Nesta Marley), Peter Tosh (Winston Hubert McIntosh), and Bunny Wailer (Neville Livingston).
The Wailers is a reggae band formed by bassist Familyman Barrett & remaining members of Bob Marley & the Wailers, currently on tour & in the studio.
