Reed's is a successful independent day and boarding school, providing an education for 790 pupils between 11 and 18, with girls in the Sixth Form, based in Cobham, Surrey, England.
From 1951 until her death in 2022 Queen Elizabeth II acted as the school's 15th patron and visited the school twice, in 1997 and in 2014, as the reigning monarch. Alumni of the school are known as 'Old Reedonians'.
Every pupil (and member of staff) who leaves the School becomes an OR (Old Reedonian). ORs benefit from a range of clubs, regular gatherings, e-newsletters, annual magazine, a global network of fellow alumni and loyal support from the Alumni & Development Office.

Based in Clapton from 1825, in 1871 the school moved to Watford. Just prior to the start of World War II it was renamed Reed’s School and the boys were evacuated to Totnes in Devon - girls to Towcester in Northamptonshire.
