From the Soul of Man is the second studio album by American singer Kenny Lattimore. It was released by Columbia Records on September 8, 1998 in the United States. Critical reception. He reveals that his manager, Colin Gayle, was a significant influence in helping set the album’s direction. “Colin was very intentional about making things important,” Lattimore asserts.
Lattimore signed with Columbia Records in late 1994 and released his own debut album Kenny Lattimore in 1996. That set included a pair of Top 20 hits: "Never Too Busy" and the Grammy-nominated " For You ", [2] written by high school friend Kenny Lerum.
