Located between the historic Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, Empire Fulton Ferry features the beautifully restored Jane’s Carousel, a gift of Jane and David Walentas. From its graceful lawns and boardwalk, Empire Fulton Ferry offers beautiful views of the harbor and Lower Manhattan skyline.
The EmpireFulton Ferry State Park provides great views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and The New York Skyline. We visited at 09:30 and there were only a few other people around, which made it a very relaxing experience in the heart of the city before we walked across Brooklyn Bridge.

Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park, adjacent to the forthcoming mammoth Brooklyn Bridge Park, is a nine-acre waterfront park along the East River in Brooklyn located between the historic Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges.
From north to south, the park includes the preexisting Empire–Fulton Ferry and Main Street Parks; the historic Fulton Ferry Landing; and Piers 1–6, which contain various playgrounds and residential developments.
