  1. Elon Universitys three-year, in-person, full-time Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program emphasizes a patient-centered approach to the profession. The program, which begins in January, immerses students in science and research while teaching them the value of respect and communication.

  2. The Mission. Elon Universitys Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum, in partnership with Cone Health-Alamance Regional, provides graduate professional physical therapy education and supports faculty and student scholarly activity.

Students in the program have the opportunity to practice specific learning objectives in a variety of clinical practice settings.

  5. Program Description. Elon has taken pride in developing an outstanding educational program from its inception. Partnering with Alamance Regional Medical Center, the program began as a Master of Physical Therapy in 1998 and transitioned to a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2003.
