When a criminal group connected to the Ryunka incident escape from custody, hiding themselves and their alien identities on Earth, Birdy and Tsutomu are thrown back into action. It seems, however, that there are other forces involved, as well as old faces, which give Birdy time to reflect on the past, and the people that influenced her.
The aliens on board escape to Earth and blend in with the human population, and it's up to Birdy to capture them unharmed and escort them back to headquarters. Yet Birdy soon discovers that there are other forces involved, and it'll take everything she's got to bring these criminals back alive!
Tetsuwan Birdy (鉄腕バーディー, Tetsuwan Bādī?), o Birdy the Mighty, es un manga creado por Masami Yūki, mangaka conocido por ser también creador de Patlabor. Su trabajo inicial Tetsuwan Birdy fue recopilado en un solo tomo y con un final inconcluso, y sirvió para la realización de una miniserie de 4 OVAs.
