École Secondaire Belmont Secondary School is a secondary school located in Langford, a western suburb of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of three secondary schools in School District 62 Sooke. It serves the suburban West Shore area of Colwood, Highlands, Langford, and Metchosin.
Sooke School District acknowledges the traditional territories of the Coast Salish: T’Sou-ke Nation and Sc'ianew Nation and Nuu-chah-nulth: Pacheedaht Nation. We also recognize that some of our schools reside on the traditional territory of the Esquimalt Nation and Songhees Nation.

The Sooke School District is home to 3 secondary schools and 4 middle schools. Two of our three high schools are brand new, having opened their doors in September of 2015. Our high schools are on a semester (half-year) system.
Belmont’s History. Ecole Belmont Secondary School opened in 1947 off of Jacklin Road in repurposed Canadian Armed Forces barracks. In September of 2015, the Sooke School District opened the doors of the new school in the Westhills area of the City of Langford.
