21 de abr. de 2023 · It is precisely from this abyss between myth and history, and the irretrievable archive it contains, that José Alejandro Restrepo’s Musa paradisiaca interpellates us, as if continuing the story of the contested memory of the massacre that began with García Márquez’s novel.
Restrepo’s installation begins with the inscription of this mark as the hinge on which the whole work seems to turn. Musa invites us to listen, then, not to the archive, but to the voice of the unarchivable emerging from the always unfinished place of its articulation.
