Van Halen symbol. The iconic Van Halen symbol is simple enough to understand. The current logo, a version of the design from Dave Bhang, combines the “V” and “H” of Van Halen in slanting capital letters. The design creates a “V” shape, with wings coming out at the top of either corner of the image.
24 de abr. de 2024 · Dave Bhang designed the new logo. It is the most iconic symbol of the rock band Van Halen because the name is encrypted in it. It was used for the debut album. To the right and left of the stylized “V” and “H” are two wings, consisting of six stripes of different lengths and widths.
Van Halen's original logo was hand-drawn by original bassist Mark Stone. This logo was still seen on one of Alex Van Halen's shirts throughout the David Lee Roth era. 1978. The original wing logo designed by Dave Bhang for the debut album. 1979–1986, 2012–2020.
To further introduce the new era for the band, a new Van Halen logo was put on the cover. The new logo retained elements of the original, but now the lines extending from either side of 'VH' wrapped around and formed a ring.
