A tadpole is the larval stage in the biological life cycle of an amphibian. Most tadpoles are fully aquatic, though some species of amphibians have tadpoles that are terrestrial. Tadpoles have some fish -like features that may not be found in adult amphibians such as a lateral line, gills and swimming tails.

10 de abr. de 2024 · To raise tadpoles, feed them a pinch of boiled romaine lettuce every day. Make sure the lettuce is soft and cut up into tiny pieces so the tadpoles can eat it. You can also give your tadpoles a couple pinches of fish flakes per week, but don't feed them too much or they could get sick.

Most people only think about tadpoles as being frogs, but don't leave out their moist cousins (which have larval tadpole stags too) such as salamanders and toads.
