Nissan Skyline GT-R Nismo Z-Tune shown at the Nismo showroom. Nismo originally designed the concept of the Z-tune in 2002 when Nissan was putting an end to the R34 Skyline production. The first Z-tune was built in 2003, using a used 2002 Skyline GT-R V·Spec II.
This highly tunable engine was offered with power between 327hp and 493hp, depending on the variant. Alongside the standard Base Model, notable variants included the V-Spec I, V-Spec II, Nür, and NISMO Z-Tune.

That formidable Z1-engined machine had debuted at Mount Fuji during the Nismo festival on November 26th 2000 where it won the Tuners’ Battle contest.
