Edge of Tomorrow is a 2014 American science fiction action film based on the novel. The film, directed by Doug Liman and produced by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow, stars Tom Cruise as William Cage (the film's counterpart to Keiji Kiriya) and Emily Blunt as Rita Vrataski.
The novel that inspired the movie Edge of Tomorrow! When the alien Mimics invade, Keiji Kiriya is just one of many recruits shoved into a suit of battle armor called a Jacket and sent out to kill. Keiji dies on the battlefield, only to be reborn each morning to fight and die again and again.
