The Mechanical Worm is a Hardmode boss-summoning item used to summon The Destroyer, the Hardmode version of the Eater of Worlds. It can only be used at night ; attempting to use this item during the day will not spawn the Destroyer nor consume the item.
The Clentaminator is a Hardmode tool sold by the Steampunker which can be used to convert blocks and plants to different biome equivalents. The converted biome type is determined by the ammunition solution used (sold separately).
The mechanical bosses' summoning items can be crafted at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. They also drop from all Hardmode enemies (except statue -spawned enemies, Meteor Heads, and Old One's Army enemies) with a 1/2500 (0.04%) chance until their respective boss is defeated.

The Destroyer can be summoned manually using a Mechanical Worm at night (7:30 PM to 4:30 AM). It also has a 10* 1/10 (10%) chance to spawn naturally at dusk once a Demon or Crimson Altar has been destroyed, as long as it has not yet been defeated at least once in the current world.
