State Route 65 ( SR 65) is a north-south state highway in the U.S. state of California. It is composed of two segments in the Central Valley. The southern segment begins at SR 99, near Bakersfield and terminates at SR 198 near Exeter. It also serves the communities of Oildale, Ducor, Terra Bella, Porterville, Strathmore, and Lindsay.
26 de feb. de 2023 · If the new Highway 65 comes to pass, the state will eventually buy thousands of acres of right-of-way for a route that could, in decades ahead, become a long-haul California freeway. Presently, Caltrans is studying only the link from Tulare County to Madera County.

Currently two extant sections are in use: the southern section from Bakersfield north to Exeter and the northern section from Roseville to Marysville. Some portions are built to freeway standards, while others are expressway standards.
