If you can join other rooms or host games for other people just fine, it may be that host that has the network problems. If you do have a troublesome router, you can fix the problem by configuring the router to enable Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), or manually do port forwarding for UDP port 16000.

5 de ene. de 2011 · Activate your account and log in. Within minutes you should receive a confirmation e-mail to activate your GameRanger account. If it's not in your inbox, try looking in your junk folder. 2-Do portforward for GameRanger in your router/modem. GameRanger uses UDP 16000 port.
